Virginia and Tim are Married!

I feel like I have known this couple for ever. Now they are finally married. I took their engagement shoots last November, and her boudoir photos in February. I had actually met the bride through a modeling network. I have known her for a couple of years while she attended RISD. She met Tim within that time at a party. They were both architecture majors. A great fit from the start. Their wedding was full of many tears of happiness. Everyone was really excited.

I couldn't believe this DIY bride. Pre-wedding she was there making the center pieces, and decorating the cake with flowers. She also made her own bouquets and table seating chart. She did the invitations, the dinner menu. . . the list goes on. What a rock star! Everything came out so good. You can tell she is a dedicated artist.

This couple was so cute together. You could tell that they would be very happy. I always enjoy the little things couples do that you can tell how much they care. Silly things like opening a door, holding her train, wiping the hair from her face. You could just tell how much they cared.

Their Wedding was held at the Essex Inn in Essex, VT. What a gorgeous location. I was so happy to shoot there. The food was amazing!

I'm also psyched that they enjoyed the online gallery I provided, and already wrote me a great letter of recommendation:

To Whom It May Concern,
I have worked with Caitlin extensively now, from engagement photos, to a boudoir shoot, up to the incredible work she did at our August wedding. Caitlin always shows up promptly, prepared to work. My husband and I are both designers, and as such placed incredible value on the photos of our day. With this in mind, the only photographer who fulfilled our expectations, with her incredible talent and excellent value was Caitlin. Her organization and experience allowed her to capture many more photos than most within the single hour between our ceremony and reception. She was able to organize large groups with ease, making them feel comfortable and capturing everyone at their best (a very difficult feat when there are over a dozen people involved!) By the time our dinner was finished, she already had a slide show of images playing, which our guests greatly enjoyed throughout the evening - and kept working diligently during the reception. Looking through the multitude of photos, I was so glad that I had Caitlin to capture all the subtle, beautiful moments of our day that I was too busy and overwhelmed with guests to even notice myself. She immortalized one of the most important days of my husband and my life poetically. I encourage you to do yourself a great service and use Caitlin for your special event.
Sincerely,
Virginia (and Tim)

Anyway, I hate writing too much, on to the pics. . .
